What areas do you service?
We primarily serve the Catawba Valley region including the counties of Alexander, Burke, Caldwell, Catawba, Iredell, Lincoln, and Mecklenburg.
Who can sign an agreement?
The agreement must be signed by someone with the legal authority to authorize the sale of the property. This may include the property owner, the court-appointed executor or administrator of an estate, the trustee of a trust, or an individual acting under a valid power of attorney. If you're unsure whether you have the authority to sign, we're happy to discuss your situation before moving forward.
How long does it take to execute an estate sale?
Most commonly, estates take approximately 2-3 weeks to prep, while the sale itself is 1 or 2 days. Each estate is unique and preparation and sale lengths may vary.
How much will an estate sale cost me?
We collect no money upfront and assess a commission fee on the revenue generated by the sale. This fee is disclosed after the consultation and is reflected in your contract.
Can you clarify what a "buyout" is?
A buyout is an option we provide for those who do not want to have a public sale but still want the estate emptied. We offer one price for the entire contents and haul it away. We also offer this option for collections or smaller quantities of contents you may be looking to liquidate.
When and how will I get paid?
All payments are made by business check and vary based on the services rendered. For estate sales, payments are rendered 5-7 business days after the sale. For buyouts, payments are made upon execution of the contract. For consignment, payments are made 3-5 days after the receipt of deliverance to the buyer.
